2021 Fasting Packet

Our annual Columbus Church of Christ fast is nearly here. This year our theme is Humility and our theme scripture is 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Our fast will start at midnight on December 31st and will end on January 20th.

Our focus for the fast will be to turn to God as a church in Humility and beg God for Healing from all the pain and hurt caused in our world, the pain and hurt from the sin, the mistreatment of the poor, widows, orphans, and minorities. We are asking for the humility to love each other the way Christ Jesus loves us, regardless of our.
